Marine Haulage Services was incorporated in 2002.  Marine Haulage Services formed part of the Vision of our CEO, Mr. Roger Hinds to provide a full line of integrated services.   Marine Haulage Services provides both exporters and importers with the opportunity of container movements to and from the Island’s two major ports, APM Terminals and Kingston Wharves, to any destination in Jamaica.

With a staff complement of sixteen (16) employees, Marine Haulage also offer the following services;  flatbed rental, chassis hireage, container weighing and storage of containers as a value added service.  However, the core business of Marine Haulage is the haulage of containers to and from both ports to various location island wide. 

Did you know?? The haulage process begins with the customer or the Custom Broker providing Marine Haulage with an order or bill of laden.  This document should be accompanied with the stamp of the relevant offices e.g. Jamaica Customs, the port as well as the shipping line.  Containers arriving at Kingston wharves can be cleared as soon as the documents arrive, however, APM operates with an appointment system.

Meet Sandra Wilkinson, Manager of Marine Haulage Services.  In October 2001 Sandra joined the Accounts Department of Transocean Shipping Limited in the capacity of Cashier.  She executed her duties consistently well and earned the respect of her supervisors and colleagues. In addition to her reliability and attention to detail, she displayed an aptitude for degrees of responsibility that won the confidence of the management of the company. 

When the opportunity presented itself Sandra was transferred to Marine Haulage Services as its  Account Operations Coordinator.  She was equal to the challenge and in just nine months assumed a managerial role. Sandra's "can-do" attitude and her willingness to learn are just two of the attributes that will guarantee Sandra success in any undertaking! In addition to her hard work and dedication, Sandra can always be relied on to display a sunny disposition and a consistently positive outlook.

Sandra is described by her staff as a hard worker, whose most outstanding attribute is her ability to motivate them.
