
Roger Hinds
Chief Executive Officer
Roger Hinds is one of the names most closely associated with the future of the shipping industry in Jamaica. Through tireless and unstinting professionalism and leading always by example, Roger has grown from strength to strength and consistently inspired confidence in his principals, colleagues and customers. Never satisfied with less than the best effort, Roger subscribes to and requires of others a willingness to think creatively, pay consistent attention to detail and embrace a commitment to leading change. The steady growth of Transocean Shipping Limited (TSL) and the role Roger now plays in plotting a course for the industry are evidence of the wisdom in his thinking. Roger was recently elected president of the Shipping Association of Jamaica and its group of companies. Having served three as Vice President, he is poised now to assume the mantel of president on January 2, 2009. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of and is Company Secretary for the Kingston Wharves Group, (Terminal Operators at Berths 1-9 Port Bustamante). Roger also serves on the boards of: Port Computer Services, Assessment Recoveries Limited, (an agency established for the collection of demurrage and detention) and Amalgamated Stevedores Limited, (local partners of port management entity A P Moller, responsible for the management of Kingston’s container terminal).
Celia Hinds
Director/Freight Services Manager
Celia Hinds became involved with the applied rather than theoretical aspects of maritime transportation when she joined Transocean Shipping Limited in 1992. During her 16 year tenure she received considerable exposure to many aspects of the shipping business and now she provides technical and administrative support in all areas of the company’s operations. Celia completed courses in Terminal & Shipping Operations (CMI in association with the Norwegian Shipping Academy) and Legal Aspects of Commercial Shipping Operations. Her main areas of focus at TSL are documentation and customer care, business development and claims.

Asif Williams
Business Development Officer
Asif Williams spearheads the efforts of the newly formed department created to strategically identify and secure viable revenue streams for the group of companies. His qualifications, competencies and experience speak eloquently to the vision of the department. Asif's role will serve to meld automation with internal systems and marketing for efficient results.
Asif’s training in Governance and Diplomacy, is in keeping with the high velocity culture change being embraced by the company to take it to the next stage of its evolution and relevance to commercial shipping and supply chain management in the 21st Century.
Seymour Allison
Financial Manager
Seymour brought 16 years of accounting experience and expertise to bear in our accounting department with excellent results in very short order. With five of those years spent in the maritime sector and given his astuteness, attention to detail and results-driven orientation, Seymour is an asset in our pursuit of professional excellence.

Michael Sucklal
Operations Manager
Michael has garnered a wealth of skill and experience in stevedoring, vessel husbandry and operations over years of working with Transocean Shipping. He is knowledgeable in the handling of varied cargoes and vessels. Michael’s diligence has contributed significantly to our sound safety and productivity records.
Michael is completing a diploma course in shipping logistics at the Caribbean Maritime Institute and is a part of the formidable team advancing the development of the movement of non-traditional cargoes between new and longstanding suppliers and consumers.
